God-sized Prayers
Ordinary.
That is how I thought of myself as a young girl. Plain, girl next door, nothing too notable about me.
This ordinary girl gave her life to Jesus at the age of seven. I feared hell, loved Jesus for His amazing sacrifice, and opened the door of my heart to Him.
I lived an ordinary faith. I led Bible Study in High School. The church my family attended was too small for a youth group, so I attended youth group at different churches around town.
I somehow missed grace. Yet God wasn’t done with this ordinary girl who often resembled a Pharisee with white washed walls, but decay inside.
God humbled and broke me. He gave me what I needed and not what I wanted. Humbled I discovered I desperately needed His grace. I realized it is His kindness that brings us to repentance. Not judgmental diatribes.
Now I stand – a blood bought former slave, adopted by the Heavenly Father. My heart bursts with love for Him and pours out in humble obedience and grace-filled love for others.
My ordinary life transformed into something extraordinary for His glory. So here are my God-sized prayer requests:
1. That I will get a book deal with a publishing house.
2. That an agent will want to represent me.
3. That I will share the things God has and is teaching me with others (especially women)…Maybe to thousands or even hundreds of thousands of women. That these women will live transformed lives for God.
All for God’s glory, for His kingdom to enlarge, and for me to just be a mouthpiece.
God-sized for sure and I am stepping out soon. I will be going to a conference in a little more than two weeks. There I will have opportunities to sharpen my skills, meet with agents and publishers. All to show off His glory. All for Him!
