A Bit Behind…

Hello blog readers. I hope you are having a great week.

I had a wonderful time this past weekend with Concord Baptist Church’s ladies retreat. I got home and about an hour later I coached some cheerleaders. On Sunday I helped my husband lead the large group for our fifth and sixth grade Sunday School and then helped led a small group for the girls. WHEW…Then Sunday night a trip to the grocery store turned into me helping a worker who passed out while waiting for the ambulance to get there. So glad I keep that nursing license current. God is so good to have us exactly where He needs us. He uses us in so many ways we could never even know.

So needless to say this week is crazy too. I am preparing to go to Allume – a blogging conference for Christian women. I am super excited about going, but already missing my sweet family. So today I am not writing a normal blog post.

Today I am praying for us all.

Father God thank You that nothing is a surprise to You. You know the very hairs on our heads and the circumstances of life do not ever take you by surprise. Help us then to rest in You as we deal with the crazy things in life. Help us to seek to hide ourselves in Your loving, powerful, ever-present arms. Give us contentment on this crazy marathon of life. Help us to offer You thanks in all circumstances. Give us a love for Your Word that we may dwell with You. Thank You for loving us all. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
