A Guest Post and A Prayer

Today is my girls’ first day of school…So here is a prayer for the first day of school.

Father God,

You are the creator of knowledge.
You knit my child together and know every detail of her personality.
Comfort her fears of this unknown school year. Calm her excited heart.
Give her friends that love You and that encourage her to grow closer to You.
Guard her steps. Keep her healthy and safe. I trust her to your care.
Be with the teachers and staff at her school. Give them patience and wisdom.
Help her to learn and retain what she needs to be successful in Your eyes.
Thank You for loving my child more than I ever could.
