Do You Really Trust God?
Yesterday was our third day of Vacation Bible School (VBS) at our church. That day is the day we present the whole gospel clearly. This year we talked about Nicodemus and his discussion with Jesus. My fourth graders had some great questions. Questions that sometimes I failed to realize…
Did you know that Jesus said John 3:16? Yes that most famous verse bleeds out in red letters on the page and was spoken forth from our savior Himself.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Here is the amazing thing friends…Jesus had not died yet when He spoke those words. He was telling Nicodemus what was to come. God’s plan from before He created the world was to send His Son to die. He loved us that much. AMAZING.
So if God had Jesus’ life planned before time began, don’t you think He has your life too? Instead of struggling with all the unknowns to us can we trust God with it all? Do we trust God at all? Do we really live clinging to Him, resting in Him?
We will get back to right thinking wrong thinking next week. Consider clicking on the Facebook icon under my name to join my Facebook page. There are prayers, updates, and blog post reminders. I can’t wait to connect with you!

Yes!! So very true. I remember Abraham and how God told him to go and he didn’t question him – he didn’t even know where he was going! He just went. Walking in uncertainty can be a challenge, but with God’s eyes, we don’t have to worry. We can trust our Leader. 🙂
Yes Christin. Abraham’s example is a wonderful one to follow. God knows we just have to let go and trust Him.
Hello Friend, found your blog from the shespeaks conference group blogroll…… wanted to say hello and look forward to meeting you in person! Loved the questions you posed about, ” Instead of struggling with all the unknowns to us can we trust God with it all? Do we trust God at all? Do we really live clinging to Him, resting in Him?” I think we so often can say that yes, we do, but our actions may speak differently. Thanks for posing these thought provoking questions and helping to re-evaluate ourselves.
Thank you so much for jumping in! I am so glad these questions got you thinking. 🙂 I am praying for us all to trust Him as we step up and into the She Speaks Conference. As well as life in general. I can’t wait to meet you in person!
My journey for the past two years has been one of learning to trust God’s plan for my life. It is so silly that we have even doubt Him. That is what I have found out time and time again. http://www.simplelifejourney.com

Thanks for sharing! We do doubt even though it doesn’t make sense. I’m so thankful He forgives.
