Today…

Today I will have about 22 people running around my house 11 kids (two are teenagers) and 11 adults. I may be crazy, but I am super excited to spend some time with my family.

We will play, swim, talk, laugh, pray, eat, drink, and enjoy each other. We may even see some fireworks (if the drought doesn't cause an official to postpone them).

During this time I hope we will also remember. We will offer God thanks for our country founded on freedom and democracy. Remember to pray for our troops fighting to keep us safe. Remember those who have died for this country. Remember that diversity and working together through that diversity is what makes this nation so great. Perhaps we will pray for God to rain down His Spirit on our nation.
