My Sister…My Twin Sister.

35 years ago today, my twin sister and I were born! Yes I am that young 😉

I decided to celebrate with a photo montage of my sister and I. In most of the pictures I am on the LEFT (don’t know why I am younger by four minutes).

We have great stories of knocking my moms car into neutral and so the car backed down the driveway and hit the curb across the street. Together we were unstoppable. We did fight like cats and dogs, but nobody else was allowed to say anything bad about each other. My sister was my protector. She was so good at tennis, basketball, diving, gymnastics, etc. I was so proud of her! She saw the best and the worst (too often the worst) of me and still stuck up for me!

Thank you Heather for putting up with me!

How about you? You may not have a twin, but a sibling, a friend who was there through it all? I would LOVE to hear about it.

Angela is a stumbling woman in need of God’s scandalous grace. Through faith in Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, she bears the name Christian. She speaks and writes to make much of this God, His only Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit who lives in her. She graduated college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse. She also obtained her Masters of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies through Knox Theological Seminary.

Hahaha, nice pics! I only have one sibling: my elder sister. She watched over me when I was younger, but then I grew taller and smarter than her. I was happy for her when she got married in March of 2009, and I was very happy that I was able to do a good job as her master of ceremonies on her big day! =)

Thanks for sharing. I remember a time when my mother asked my sister and I, in reference to my little brother, “what do you want me to do, hang him on a nail somewhere?”. At the moment that would have been a great idea. But now, i wouldn’t trade my little brother for anything. He is and always has been there for me through the good and the bad. He is all a sister could want. I am thankful I have him. Love you Michael!

I also have a big sister and a little brother. Love them all dearly as they have helped shape me to who I am!

I have been so blessed to know you lovely YOUNG ladies 31 of those 35 years. It’s been such a joy to watch you grow into the women God designed you to be. And I appreciate the examples you’ve been to my children – especially your continued encouragement to Rebekah as she seeks God’s will for her life. You both are soooo precious to me and I greatly appreciate your unique individuality though you’re twins.

Thanks Letty. I am honored to be there for Rebekah. She is a great woman after God’s heart! Thanks for your kind comments and for being there through all the years!

Happy Birthday. I so enjoy reading your postings every day. You are a very talented writer. Wish I had the talent to write like that but the Lord didn’t pass that one along to me. Hope your have a glorious day. The pictures were great. Loved seeing them.

Thank you Diane. I am blessed that God would use me to bless others. You do so many other things to bless others that He didn’t need to give you the gift of writing too. 😉

Thanks Jami! There is definitely some family resemblance with my girls and me…If we had pictures of Dan we would say the same thing. 😉

As for the weather…I LOVE IT! I went outside and played while the kids watched a movie inside. LOL!
