Praying for the USA

Father God thank You for the USA. Thank You for Your grace and mercy on our country. We are not perfect, we have made many mistakes and continue to make mistakes. Oh God I lift our government up to You. There is corruption and we are far from our founding principles. I cannot see a way to clean up the way our government works, but I know You do. So I pray for all the our Senators and Representatives. I pray they will work together in an honest way. I pray they will work together for the good of our nation and their constituents. I pray for honesty and integrity in all our government officials. I pray Your Holy Spirit will blow afresh over our nation, our government, our president. May Your Spirit bring life and renewal. Heal the rifts and the division in our nation. Bind us together in You and through You. May we be a nation that honors You in word and deed. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
